What You Need To Know About Us

Starting and growing a financial planning firm is hard. Over the last five years I have worked diligently to figure out the systems, processes and tools and build a solid network of other key financial professionals to support my clients comprehensively in reaching their goals.

We need a partner in crime so we can continue to grow and take on new clients while still being able to provide the top tier service to our existing clients. We are excited to bring more planners like you into our firm and mentor them.

Have you been in the industry for a couple of years and you’re feeling frustrated that it is far harder than you expected? Do you want to be apart of a team that is forward-thinking, growth-oriented, and who provides superior work to clients?

If you’re exceptionally caring about others, pride yourself in your critical thinking abilities, and always feel the drive to reach the next milestone, we want you on our team! Does that sound like you?

You’ll Be Perfect For This Job If…

  • Your friends and family would describe you as someone who puts other people first
  • You get a thrill out of finally figuring out a complex puzzle
  • You don’t need anyone looking over your shoulder to make sure your work gets done
  • You ask yourself "Does that even make sense?" before you act
  • You check, double check and triple check your work to ensure it’s right
  • When we call your references, they will describe you as dependable and reliable
  • You’re a big team player. You’re willing to do what needs to get done even if it isn’t in your so-called job description because you care about the team doing well - plus you love the challenge of learning new things
  • You have no problem being insistent and persistent, follow up is your middle name, even when it comes to your boss
  • If you see a better way to do something you can’t wait to share it with your team
  • You’re capable of working from home and you don’t need regular in person face-time with your coworkers to feel like part of a team.
  • You get excited about receiving feedback and constructive criticism because it helps you grow to be even better than you were yesterday

Qualifications & Experience…

  • 3+ years of experience in the Canadian finance industry
  • LLQP licensed preferred
  • QAFP or CFP preferred

Wondering What The Nitty gritty Of The Role Includes?

  • The skill of speaking with clients about money on a level they can easily understand. A true financial expert can distill complex financial matters into simple, non-intimidating verbiage
  • Following our proprietary 5-step PULSE process exceedingly well
(If you are not already familiar with the planning process we use, that is okay! If you are exceptionally strong at following instructions, you will succeed)
  • Analyzing the client’s current financial situation and then making recommendations to clients that align with their goals while always acting in their best interest
  • Think "Jack-of-all-trades" – we have a promote from within company structure and are a small team, so you can expect to be cross trained on many different tasks as your role grows within the company
  • The not-so-sexy but vital-for-the-industry parts are:
    • Maintaining compliance
    • Continued training with classes, workshops, webinars, professional publications, professional networks and associations
    • Expanding existing relationships
    • Developing new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, social media marketing and content creation, and referrals
